nesting?

i don't know if i can call this nesting but i have been wanting to build EVERYTHING. what could a 9 month preggo possibly build? swings and bouncers of course. lovey couldnt believe that i actually built all of these without his help but it doesnt take a rocket scientist. i have always considered myself to be pretty independent when it comes to stuff like this and i LOVE building things. i think i did a pretty good job, no?

olivia's room is also starting to look like a nursery! FINALLY! her crib is dressed and ready... her dresser and nightstand are finally painted and ready to be filled... her closet has clean clothes hanging in it... chandelier is up and the walls are painted.

i need to buy nobs for this piece... they will be the same glass nobs on the dresser (i found them at anthropology!)

thats my diaper bag... i wanted something not too feminine and i am so happy with the one i found.

please notice all of lovey's junk on the top shelves in the closet... and the princess diaries posted on the floor... HAHAHA!

i love her bedding :)

i cannot wait till this whole room is done... who knows when i will finish... hopefully before she gets here. and look who came to see what i was doing...

he's such a cutie!

vote, please? :)

  1. I absolutely LOVE what you have done with her nursery! AND I'm super jealous. I'm still in the process of waiting for the boyfriend to get us a place (hopefully no later than two weeks from now)and then I have to move all of my stuff to a different town at almost 8.5 months pregnant! I cannot wait to pull things out of boxes and start nesting though. I have lots of neat ideas, but no place to put them! Love the chandelier you chose especially. Very pretty!

  3. So cute! I did a bunch of work on my nursery last weekend. It's getting there. I'm not sure if it's nesting but I do not want to be moving things and putting things together when I have zero mobility!

  6. Yay for being nine weeks pregnant! I can't wait until she comes. I love the nursery - esp. the bedding. The room looks fantastic and you did great on building the bouncer and swing. :)
